I'm happy to know a young person like yourself, John, that is politically awake and will make a thoughtful voter in the future.

74. Colorado Caucus here, also
It's great how tenacious we are! :)

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the caucus. Because of health problems, I'm just not in a very strong place. I would sure like to know if there are other Kucitzens in my caucus, so that I could link up with them before the caucus. If I'm alone, I just don't think I have the wherewithall right now to try to wrangle others to come to the DK side.

Do you have any idea if there is any attempt locally to gather DK supporters together? (I found the local organization to be .... well, rather disorganized, and not exactly friendly, unfortunately.) So, if you have any ideas, that would be great. (And not just trying to tell me I can do it alone..... I'm pretty depleted energy-wise.)

I've managed to turn on some other people, but they're in other states.

13. Hey Bob
I am close to the edge on this one. A lot depends on the playing field on March 2nd. I would LOVE to vote for DK. But I may still need to vote Dean or Edwards to try to block Kerry.

Going to see DK next week and am in close contact with his local folks.

But I am in anybody but Kerry for nominee mode now.

Gore has always been my first choice. Still is.

Hopefully I'll be able to pull some DK delegates in our next congressional disctrict caucus from the uncommitteds.

And I am DK all the way. I had thought, a couple of years ago, that there weren't any real Democrats left, that there weren't any real politicians who were people first still around. Then Dennis pops up and I can see a light in the darkness, a sunrise of magnificent color - ok, a little purple, but I'm a supporter!

If you happen to know any Dennis supporters there, that would be great news.

How fine that your family shares your "fire"! :) Hope they're able to convert some others... :)

36. Hi! I'll be going to my regional convention
as a Dennis delegate in April here in WA state.
He is such an incredible man. I am having to defend my vote, however, since many people feel he doesn't have a chance. Even good democrat friends are wondering why I am not rallying around Kerry. I simply explain some of Dennis' positions on the issues and they suddenly realize that they agree with Dennis, too. Duh!

38. Hi Bob! We're frozen but dedicated in MN!!!
Here's a picture of the view down my street in Minneapolis:

The DK sign in the lower left corner is mine, in my front yard. The two red arrows are pointing at other DK signs two and three houses down from mine, respectively. BTW, the only other candidate sign I've seen in my 'hood is a window sign for Dean-- so our caucuses should be interesting!

We have a TON of support for Dennnis here in MN, and he's coming here Feb 20-22 for rallies all around the state (www.minnesotaforkucinch.com/kucinichinminnesota.php).

We're hanging in there, and getting stronger every day!

(You may be asking, why no sign in my next-door neighbors' yard? Well, he's a Republican-- one of two in the whole neighborhood! And she's a Democrat, but they don't discuss politics much!)

I have a darn good chance of being a delegate to the state convention too, and I'm sticking with DK all the way!

In fact, our county unit (Pine County -- a REAL progressive group!) has a BIG bunch of Kucinich supporters, we think we have a REALLY good shot at a sizeable DK delegation for the state convention -- and if there's any way, I'm going to try to go all the way to the national Dem convention as a Kucinich delegate!

Not backing down on this, I'm COMMITTED! (and I keep sending money too!)

66. And as a former Oregonian, I say that you can vote for DK anytime!
I've said this many times, but in 1988, Jesse Jackson got over 1/3 of the Oregon primary vote even in May. Maybe Dennis can equal that!

I know that Oregon Dems are very liberal (except for Kulongoski and a few others), so DK should be an easy sell.

67. Just stayed up late to watch the Wisconsin J&J Dinner on CSPAN
Dennis didn't have as large a T-shirted cheering section as some of the other candidates, but the audience received him very warmly and there were plenty of people coming forward to shake his hand as he walked down the aisle.

73. Good morning!
:hi:

May it be a great Sunday for all.

Karma to Dennis, and to our nation today.

May he rock the debate tonight.

What time is that debate on here on the left coast (PST)?

75. I may be joining you guys
Depending on what Dean does. For the first time in my life, I'm not going to capitulate to the lesser of two evils with my vote. I've seen where that's gotten us. No more.

when and if you make the jump. You have been a good supporter of Dean, I am sorry if this goes the way people around here seem to be projecting. You will be welcome with us and you will feel really good with DK. We will be heard.

101. No, I'm in
NC, so my vote may be of little consequence. But I'm already signed up to recieve Kucinich Meetup info. If my vote won't matter, some phone calls and letter writing may be all I can offer.

107. Your vote is sacred
that's how strongly I feel about elections-and most people don't vote!
I really like the vision of the future Dennis speaks of.
Plus my father was also a truckdriver-a lifelong Teamster member.
I ran an informational picket-line for UFCW Local 73 for 14 months.
I love hearing him speak truth to power-no strings attached.
He isn't farout or kooky left at all on issues.
He is for peace.
He is a Democrat.

I mean not going the lesser evil route. For what it's worth I'm pulling for Dean to do well in Wisconsin. I do not like the smackdown that's been dropped on him one bit.

82. Kucinich will get my vote in the PA primary.
No matter what happens between now and then, Dennis Kucinich is my preferred President! I will not allow myself to be influenced by attempts to get me to change my vote. And that is the way everyone should be voting; otherwise, you are not being honest with yourself.

83. Looks like I will
Kind of a recent epiphany... the primary train won't stop at my station til June. I have donated to Clark and Kucinich, and was planning to vote for Clark, but since he's out... DK all the way!

I do support Kerry's candidacy, but I kind of doubt he needs my primary vote at this point... may as well go with my conscience.

84. I'd appreciate a little help here...
I started a thread for MN Kucinich supporters, and I could really use some help keeping it kicked to the front page. I'm hoping that some of us MN DU Kucitizens might meet up with each other.

I live 100 miles north of the Cities, so it's kind of a big deal for me when I make the trip down. Just thought it would be really fun if some of us who plan on attending the Northrop rally on 2/21 could also have our own get-together...

Here's the thread: Minnesota DUers for Kucinich - will you be at DK's Northrup rally on 2/21?

Thanks in advance,
sw
