My take on the presidential canidates
Edited on Wed Jun-20-07 06:06 AM by Popol Vuh
The only one who I think has any credibility is Kucinich. But even if he did manage to get elected he'd likely make decisions against the will of the people for the benefit of the corporation.

Everybody else is so blatantly guilty, IMO, of totally talking out their ass. All I see is nothing but lip service when I watch them. I am sorry everybody but that's the way I see it. Its in the body language of their eyes and voices.

Of course any Dem is a far better choice than any Repub. But nevertheless, don't expect anything but mostly more of the same and excuses.

That is until we totally eliminate ALL lobby monies in ALL politics. Which of course will never happen.

1. have you considered the current mayor of NY?
compared to Ghouliani, it is like night and day.

I agree that the entire class of GOPers is pretty pathetic, although ron paul speaks least out of his ass. He is just too conservative on a couple of issues for me.

Hillary? no way. her negatives will not disappear and as more people see her for who and what she is, she is gone.
Obama has a growing rezko problem, and his lack of experience is getting him in trouble. his star will fade
Edwards? I don't know what is wrong with his campaign, but clearly something is.
Richardson? as always, he has the resume, but what is with his campaign? IT seems as though he really does not want to run.

Dennis da man. But Bloomberg esta muy interesante.

2. KUCINICH would make decisions for the benefit of the corporation?
Do you really think Kucinich would be a pro-corporate president, or am I misreading this?

When I think pro-corporate Democrat, I think Clinton...I sure don't think Kucinich.

3. I was wondering that, myself.
I think the main reason Kucinich CAN'T be elected is because he's not a corporate ass-kisser. I realize his small stature also has something to do with it, but I don't think it has as much to do with his inelectability as the fact that media won't cover him since he doesn't cater to GM/Disney/Viacom's needs.

4. It's very hard to imagine Kucinich as President
The idea that he could win the primary and then beat the other side to win the election is just too unrealistic for me to even think about.

It's not that I am completely lacking in imagination. I can quite easily imagine Al Gore winning in 2008! B-)
