What would happen to the Democrat Party if
after we have a clear nominee, say...Kerry. Kerry would promise to pick Edwards as VP, Clark to replace Powell, Dean to replace Thompson, etc. etc...
Yeah, I'm in utopia, I know, and this can't be a new idea but still...

I'm a Dean supporter; I really want to support Kerry should he be the nominee but it's making me feel sick to my stomach because he just isn't giving me any reasons to support him.

2. If he'd announce some rock-solid picks for his cabinet, ...

... I might be able to work up at least SOME enthusiasm for him as a nominee that wasn't solely desperation-based.

7. How does this sound?
Republicanic party
Greenic party
Libertarianic party

:eyes:

What the frack is wrong with "Democrat" party when every other party doesn't have a "ic" suffix at the end. :eyes:

5. If Dean Is In the Administration
His rabble-rousing days will be over. I reckon they'll maybe try to put him way, waaaaaay in the back of the cabinet.

6. Welcome to DU but it's the DEMOCRATIC Party
The GOP is tries to make it "Democrat" but we know better.

I think it'll be too early to promise anything regarding the cabinet but the candidates we've had this year look tailor-made to be a mighty fine cabinet!

8. This Kerry supporter is gonna keep saying this...

...Dean needs to be the new Chairman of the DNC. In that position Dean could institutionalize his grass roots organization, making that a permanent part of the party apparatus. Given 8 years of a Kerry Presidency Dean could revolutionize how - and from WHOM - this party raises money.
