Bill Clinton raked in 10 million in speeches last year.
oh, yes, just common folk who can relate to the working class....

Former President Clinton made more than $10 million in paid speeches last year, according to new filings that show he and his presidential-candidate wife have at least $10 million in the bank, and may have closer to $50 million.

According to financial disclosure forms made public Thursday, Bill and
Hillary Rodham Clinton hold two accounts, each valued at somewhere between $5 and $25 million. One is an old-fashioned bank account; the other is a blind trust.

5. Sadly, Americans are content being ruled by rich elites.

That being said, not all rich elites are created equal. Small differences in policy can mean better or worse lives for millions of people.

6. common folk who can relate to the working class?
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, reported assets of... $1.1 million... He and his wife had total income of $984,000 in 2006, including $567,000 in royalties for two books he has written. In 2005, Obama received a $1.9 million book advance.

yep! Voice of the working man!

17. Comparing book sales made in increments of $20
with six-figure speaking engagements that are rife with the potential for conflict of interest if he ever becomes First Man.

That's lame, even for you.

19. so, in other words, the bar for what is acceptable for a candidate to earn and still be...
..thought of as being for the "common man" is being set right above where Obama is.

LOL!

Face it. Obama has money. LOTS of money. He's an evil capitalist just like Bill Clinton.

14. Good for Bill...
He's not working for, or investing in hedge funds that peddle off-shore tax shelters and sub-prime lending rates, then I don't have a problem with it.

21. Good for him - he and Hillary never had much money until after they left the White House
when they got to the White House, they weren't rich by any means (ie, not millionaires), and they were in debt when they left the White House (because of legal fees.) Since then, they've made their money from their book deals and Bill's speeches.
