2. More than one, too
Officer on both congressional district committee and local county committee. Ya gotta work within the party to influence any changes.

8. I need to get involved with the local Dems
I changed parties relatively recently, so I'm still new to the Dem scene in Tampa.

10. College Dems
I can't get involved with my local Dems, because I'm technically a Florida resident, but these days I spend most of my time at school in DC. Once I eventually settle somewhere, I'm sure I'll get involved at the local level. For now, I'm on the board of the College Dems at my school.

15. Don't Know Where You Came From In Florida... But It's Pretty Difficult To
get much ACTION going here. I do involve myself with the DNC and my local city Democratic Club, but for the most part, it's ALL talk. I love visiting DC and especially love to demonstrate, but demonstrations here are pretty much nil! Usually they just want you to make donations and I'm not all that affluent!

I will have to confess that I have opted out for a while, I'm just sick of the whole mess and inactivity!

12. Despite my heartburn with the Beltway Kool-Aid and the DLC mentality of many Dems in Washington
I have nothing but warm buzzy feelings for our local Democrats. I always volunteer time and money to get them reelected. In a red state, there is no room for appeasers. You are either with the rightwingers, or you are not. There is no middle ground!
