It's become embarrassing for those who would otherwise want to serve Republicans. They've become "the war party" (which they used to capitalize on in their branding strategy). Now it comes back to haunt them.

this story was on NPR yesterday and callers were also getting an ear full on mess-o-potainium.

Republican's are just now figuring out Bush doesn't care what you think either.
