What's up DU? I haven't been to this site in a long while, but my time away from politics has only brought new life to my own personal liberalism. While I plan on being apart of the on-going debates here, I want to bring to your attention a blog that a friend of mine in D.C. started. The blog is called Democrats in 08, and he's looking for your help. He's asking any and all people, liberal or conservative to visit his blog, democratsin08.blogspot.com, and post comments and critiques on the campaign ideas, issues, and statements. There are no ads on the page, and the only thing he wants is for a lively debate that's sole purpose is to inform.

The most important thing to do is to get informed, and then attempt to get as many of your non-caring friends to be informed. That's what is hard about politics...too many people don't care, and too many don't know what they are voting on. I applaud places like the DU that bring together people to share information, as well as figure out ways to get more people involved.
