1. We need to remember that every one of the 3441 Iraq War Dead
had families and friends that bear tremendous loss and grief.

The wife of Staff Sgt. William Beardsley, Stacey Beardsley, fourth from right,
and his the parents, Bonnie Harper, third from right and James Beardsley, second
from right, watch as an Army honor guard folds the American flag over the cremated
remains of Staff Sgt. Beardsley, during funeral services, at Arlington National Cemetery
in Arlington, Va., Wednesday, May, 23, 2007. Beardsley of Coon Rapids, Minn.,
died Feb. 26 in Diwaniyah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device
detonated near his vehicle.
