Can Alberto & Condi just ignore Subpoenas?
Has Alberto just told Waxman that he can go to hell about those e-mails?

And wasn't Condi supposed to appear before Waxman? Did she also give Waxman the Finger?

1. This administration writes the rules as they go along
If you don't admit to guilt, you must not be guilty, right??

2. Why all that show and aplomb?
If...it all amounts to ....er....nothing at all....?

The press carries nothing...and we all go whistling Dixie quietly into the night.....

Pray tell me that there are other consequences.....that it isn't over.

6. They admit guilt, but they are the Keystone Cops in charge of arresting themselves
They play by the rules, and they are the rulers!!! That seems to be the mindset.

And too many people are playing along with that mindset. On the day someone testifies to Bush violating he law, when his Attorney General says it is illegal and he goes ahead anyway, with spying on everyone in America, the Nation focuses attention on a preacher dying at the very same time. Until there is a concerted focus on the scandals, it will be difficult for folks to get the BIG picture!

Help in the effort. This thread is intended to collect scandals and their links,
in competition with the stats generated by the ultra-right JF focus here on DU:

Yesterday was a GREAT DAY for Falwell TO DIE. Or, the Buffalo Jump to Hell.

3. I do not think they can ignore the subpoenas unless congress
decides not to continue the investigation. Remember that congress has the legal power to kick out the president.

5. I guess you are right
There is a new post on here that says Gonxo's been given till May 18th....or if not to show cause.....

A seemingly silly re-drawing of the line, don't you think?
