This is a fraudulent attempt to disguise a futile escalation of the war as a temporary tactic. The numbers of soldiers keep increasing and the duration of their tours lengthened. If the pronouncements about this atrocity of a war were tv ads, the FTC would have banned them. But since this is just the Bush Regime lying again about the deaths and maiming of Americans and Iraqis, the corporate media passes the message along exactly as the script has been written for them.

Good observation there. If it were a business deal, it would be ruled fraudulent in court. But if its the government, then good Americans are supposed to call crap caviar.
