Did you know chimpy and darth face impeachment until the day they die?
This I found at Wikipedia:

"In order to convict the accused, a two-thirds majority of the senators present is required. Conviction automatically removes the defendant from office. Following conviction, the Senate may vote to further punish the individual by barring them from holding future federal office (either elected or appointed). Despite a conviction by the Senate, the defendant remains liable to criminal prosecution. It is possible to impeach someone even after the accused has vacated their office in order to disqualify the person from future office or from certain emoluments of their prior office (such as a pension)."

Are you thinking the same thing I am? It might be politically expedient now to take impeachment off the table. When we win the Oval Office, House, AND Senate, we can impeach BOTH of them, strip them of their pensions AND Secret Service details. Fuck 'em. They've got enough money to face the world without taxpayer dollars once they've been properly tarred and feathered. I'd even feel good looking the other way if some rethug senator got some pork for his state for agreeing to be ONE OF THE 67 (OR MORE) PATRIOTS WHO BROUGHT AT LEAST A SENSE OF JUSTICE INTO THE LIVES OF THOSE MURDERING FUCKS. AND they can be criminally prosecuted, because the Statute of Limitations for misdemeanors IIRC is two years. I'm thinking that the two year period would arguably start 1/20/2009. So after that date we'd have TWO YEARS to show the rest of the world that chimpy and darth didn't speak for US.

One more thing? Ya know, I thought Gerald Ford was a dupe and a dufus, but here's something ELSE interesting I found while researching impeachment:

"In 1970, then-Representative Gerald R. Ford defined the criteria (for impeachment) as he saw it: "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."

MMMMkay... I want to hear this trumpeted from every rooftop in suburbia. Rethug words coming back to haunt them...

much more likely they will be tried in the international court system.
Which would be best since they won't have so many admirers or defenders there

4. The international court system can have them after WE'RE done with them.
I wholeheartedly support flying them to the International Criminal Court in the back of a C-130 Hercules, chained to a jump seat with their hands cuffed behind their backs while MP's hold them at gunpoint. AFTER we've impeached, punished, and EXPATRIATED them.

I think it's important that the American public show the world that WE think they're criminally liable for what they've done, FIRST.

Then give their asses to the rest of the world, WITHOUT the protection of United States citizenship.

3. SORRY FOR ADDING THIS HERE!!! US Militia in Iraq
This is a pretty important post that you could start a new thread out of. I am new and blocked from doing so, but the subject matter is important.

We have listend to righties make various accusations and charges against Liberals attempting to stop the Iraq massacre of US Troops and bring them home. Names such as enemys, cowards, white flag, etc. Now I believe there is a way to shut righties up once and for all on the Iraq issue. and it lays in the excript below. As I understand it, the law was setup to allow state National guards to be deployed overseas, and in doing so it opened the door to send state militias abroad as well to defend national interests. So please read this, think about it, and maybe find the right upper lefty media hands to put this in. Because I believe righties now have a way to go fight their war in Iraq against terrorists and do so legally, and funded by Congress. I think we should start a "Send a Righty to Iraq" campaign sooner, not later!!!

EXCREPT
The deployment of 36,000 National Guard troops or state militia on the U.S.-Mexico border would stop the illegal flow of foreigners into America, says a congressional report that credits the Minuteman Project with proving that additional manpower could "dramatically reduce if not virtually eliminate" illegal immigration.

As an alternative to using existing powers and forces, the report said, a $2.5 billion annual initiative coordinated through the states for the issuance of Homeland Security grants could authorize and fund state militia, or state defense forces, to assist the Border Patrol.

5. They'll be in Paraguay by then
Is there an extradition treaty with Paraguay or is that the point of buying all the land for the new compound?
