1. Let me put it to you this way.
Woodrow Wilson was still able to THINK after he had his massive stroke. He was incapacitated physically and his wife effectively ran the government as an agent, but she still read all the documents to him while he was infirmed.

* couldn't pass a seventh grade civics test on the U.S. government.

To answer your question, probably.

2. Please don't let Bush off the hook with this nonsense.
He's a willing perpetrator of numerous criminal acts. A diminished capacity defense just lets him skate.

3. Oh, I don't know.
I think people with low I.Q.s still have the same ambitions for success and because they don't have the I.Q.s to really consider what they're doing, are probably able to go over the edge and take risks without giving all the ethical factors another thought.

It's the decision-making which matters if you're looking for short-term success. It only becomes cumbersome if you're worried about the long-term because your mistakes and casualties become apparent in the long-term.

In fact, I suspect that's what is going on in that study that says that there is no correlation with income level and I.Q. I think people with very low I.Q.s are part of good ole boy systems, and its their unethical behavior which makes them so successful, not their intelligence.

7. I agree. Good description.
Most folks with low IQs have a lot of common sense and certainly aren't insane. Here's an evaluation of * by a psychiatrist... It's pretty old, but still well worth the read.:-)
