1. Thanks for posting that.

I saw a lawyer on CSpan - maybe a week or 2 ago. He was working to free the prisoners on Guantanamo. Many of them are now known to have done nothing wrong. Most of them cannot participate in their own defense. They've been subjected to mind-erasing torture - isolation, constant loud music, constant light. They can no longer focus their thoughts. These are innocent people. It is a national disgrace.

2. Disgrace is right; I am very grateful to all those that took part in this.
They show the courage of their convictions and are pointing out that disgrace for all to see in a very public way. They were hard to miss!

3. the little girl who said,
"They want to free the terrorists in Guantanimo" made me angry. I hope someone told her that being there does not automatically make them terrorists. Wonder what she would say if someone took her away with no explanation, and no way for the family to find out what happened to her?

4. I am thankful
to those who took part in this action.
We need to keep up the nonviolent resistance against
the current genocidal regime.

April 28, 2007: Impeachment Summer Begins This Spring!

George Bush and Dick Cheney have lied the nation into a war of aggression, are spying in open violation of the law, and have sanctioned the use of torture. These are high crimes and misdemeanors that demand accountability. Since Congress doesn't seem to get it, on April 28 Americans from Miami, Florida to North Pole, Alaska are going to spell it out for them: IMPEACH! It's time to say NO to impunity for lying, spying, and torture.

9. Powerful demonstration video
Yes, a very powerful video. Guantanamo is a disgrace for Americans. I do believe that many of the people there are innocent victims. I have read that some were turned in for a cash fee. They were sold into bondage because the seller needed cash. The buyer needed a body. Now our country is destroying their minds and their lives. Our country has lost it's self-respect.
