1. Nope, that doesn't sound like a Republican to me
He'll stay 'till long after it's an obvious unwindable disaster, that's the Republican Way.

2. If he withdraws, it will be out of embarrassment
He is the third biggest embarrassment the Republicon party has presented in the last 20 years, right behind bu$h and Rove.
Cheney, Gingrich, Lott and others are all criminal and just need to be punished

5. What will bring him down is his embracing of bush
literally and figuratively. His lust for power, by clinging to bush dooms him. His pathetic attempts to embrace the extreme right wing of the party have destroyed all credablity this man ever had.

13. hey some of us are trying to eat breakfast over here!
you might warn us next time you go posting gore huh?

Us Americans have changed and grown and see through the Bush BS and want out of Iraq NOW. Mccain chose the wrong side in that affair hoping Bush and his money backers would of been able to sway public opinion one more time. Didn't work out so well but dont think he can quit right now, at least until he spends the funds he collected from supporters and yes his brown nose is realy standing out as he tows the Bush party line.

10. These 22 merchant deaths goes way beyond politics and will
be a burden he cannot take, may even bring on PTSD.

18. Nah...
He's not done playing the fool yet.

"Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will launch a high-profile effort next week to convince Americans that the Iraq war is winnable, embracing the unpopular conflict with renewed vigor as he attempts to reignite his stalling bid for the presidency..."
