The environment, and the movement that grew up to protect it, is under attack—concerted and purposeful. Yet the need for solutions to pressing environmental problems grows more urgent each day.

Teresa Heinz Kerry and John Kerry describe how these issues unite people across ideological, geographic, and cultural lines. From the San Juan Basin to the Gulf of Mexico to the South Bronx, from mothers on Cape Cod to Colorado ranchers, Teresa and John found a vibrant coalition of people and communities deploying ingenuity, technology, and sheer willpower to save the world they live in.
Now, in this passionate and personal book, Teresa and John shine the spotlight on an inspiring cross-section of these new environmental pioneers and offer a guide on how you too can get involved to protect the world.

4. Yes, it was excellent.
They are both genuine environmentalists and are fighting the good fight. I intend to buy their book.

5. Very good interview.
A lot better than the O'Reilly Factor one.

I don't know how the good Senator from Mass. could stand that snake.

I'm glad to see John and Teresa Heinz Kerry promoting their book. It's a very lovely, and inspiring book indeed.

7. Great interview. Some of the gang live-blogged about it this evening
...over at:

The contrast between our remarks about the 'Hardball' interview tonight and the 'O'Reilly Factor' interview last night is, ahm, significant to say the least.

What we had to say about the Bill O. business is at:
