Kerry Rivals Predict Ruin
What has drudge drudged up? Anyone know where he is getting this? Is this just typical hype? Should we start writing our "draft Hillary" letters now?

JK, its drudge people, relax!

2. Why wouldn't the GOP have waited until he had the nomination
sewn up? Kind of early. Edwards or someone else could still win.

7. He attributes it to Clark
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 11:41 AM by HFishbine
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: 'Kerry will implode over an intern issue'...

Which is contradictory. If Clark expected this to be so, I doubt he would have dropped out.

18. Or more serious than
VOTING for a f******* war and voting for the Patriot Act. WHAAAAAT???? Did Kerry actually believe that KKKRove wouldn't dig up all his closeted garbage? This is only going to get worse. Wait until they start in on his voting record in the Senate. I can't wait.

26. Because once Kerry gets the nomination
Bush will have to debate Kerry, in which case he will be humiliated in front of the entire country, or refuse to debate and be seen as a coward by the entire country. While a debate with Edwards would be bad enough, Edwards is too nice and doesn't have the killer instinct that Kerry does. Edwards would win the debate, but the media would spin it the way they did the Bush/Gore debates. There would be no way to spin the result of a Bush/Kerry debate. Rove knows they have to stop him beore he gets the nomination or it's too late.

Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT....

I can see a draft clark movement by supporters and delegates at the convention. IF this is true.

Clark/Dean would be a dream come true.

24. Wes Clark can always jump back in IF
there are serious revelations about the frontrunner, and I mean really serious revelations that reflect on the candidate's character in such a way that primary voters will become convinced that he is no longer "electable."

15. This type of crap is disgusting
Not as disgusting as trying to link one's opponents to Osama bin Laden, but disgusting nonetheless.

As such, it's perfectly expected that Drudge would dredge it up.

10. The National Enquirer has Kerry on the cover
in some kind of scandalous infidelity story. I just saw it at the grocery store. I should have bought a copy. The election hasn't even started folks. Kerry will be BURNT TOAST by the time KKKRove is finished with him.

21. If This Turns Out
to be true and a major smear by the media, I'm dropping out, I swear to god. I've had it. All the Dems seem to be able to get traction on is Bush's 30 year old service record. I've had it with girlfriends as the crime of the century. I'm sick to death of every candidate's every utterance being put under a microscope. I'm tired of trivia like screams, Botox, dental appointments, misbehaving family members, book deals, speaking deals, being in the same picture with movie stars, sking in Vermont, clearing brush in Crawford, family money, lack of family money, and whatever will be dreamed up tomorrow being the focus of the elections. Both sides are equally guilty. The voters are guilty for being swayed by this junk. There's no purpose to this nonsense except destroying the other guy at any cost, and it will not stop.

29. We've had our arguments about the candidates, but I totally
agree with you on this point. I'm no giant Kerry fan, but Dems as a party can not give in to this type of scandal mongering by the Repukes. I pray that Kerry takes this head-on and shuts down the Repuke scandal machine for '04.
