Haven't we heard enough for him to realize it's time to disappear.

I find it shocking how he dares to remain in his position as Atty. General, regardless of the opposition from both sides.

How much longer do you give him?

Until they think they can repair the "image" by his departure. Essentially load him down with everything they can so that when he's gone they can say it all left with him. They can't afford to have this stick around with new details once he has left.

There is less time left until Bush is scheduled to leave office (and let's hope the bastards are impeached and removed long before that) than there was time that it was asked when Rumsfeld would resign.

Bush is very loyal to his incompetent appointees.

A resignation would be further implication of wrong-doing, so unless something new bubbles up from the muck, Alberto will be in for the rest of the term.
