When school started in September one of Matts LaClairs' teachers started the year off by diving into Creationism/Dominionism. On the 3rd day Matt recorded the teacher's "sermon". Later in October, a meeting was held with the Principal, the teacher David Paszkiewicz, Matt & Paul LaClair. During the meeting Matt cited dozens of quotes of the teacher, Paszkiewicz denied everything. Matt then produced Audio CD's he had burned of the "Sermonizing".

Later on Paszkiewicz publicly portrays the meeting with the Principal falsely. If you get into trouble because you were recorded one time, what are the odds you would be recorded again ? Right, Matt had recorded the meeting with the Principal. Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that Paszkiewicz lied.

Lying in order to do Gods work is a basic tenent of Dominionism. D. James Kennedy, Pastor of Coral Ridge Ministries, calls on his followers to exercise "godly dominion ... over every aspect ... of human society." At a "Reclaiming America for Christ" conference in February, 2005, Kennedy said:

Our job is to reclaim America for Christ, whatever the cost. As the vice regents of God, we are to exercise godly dominion and influence over our neighborhoods, our schools, our government, our literature and arts, our sports arenas, our entertainment media, our news media, our scientific endeavors -- in short, over every aspect and institution of human society.

2. Focus on the Family is associated with Dominionism.

These guys are on a serious mission. They hate America and everything the Constitution stands for. So much for "truth, justice, and the American way".

I wonder how long it would take them to state bickering and infighting over whose Biblical interpretations are most correct, if they ever get the power they are seeking, that is.

3. Your link to Theocracy Watch is a must. How organized these people are is scary.

Paul Weyrich has been around for a long time trying to theocratize government. When will they learn that politics is not their friend, and if there is one thing you cannot escape in the public sphere, it's politics. But the way they have intertwined themselves with the GOP...that is just obscene whether the prevail or not, at the very least, they have scarred our country with their cynical lying, pompous self righteousness, and corrupt authoritarianism.

Veracity and truth are these people's greatest enemy. It is because their 'belief' is 'truth' to them, and supercedes all other truth and wisdom, no matter how much intellectual or spiritual rigor has been poured into it.
They don't believe in intellectual, philosophical, or spiritual rigor. Their 'faith' tells them that ignorance and action are virtues. They cannot stand in the face of the truth, and there is nothing I love more than getting these bastards on record.

It's a Constitutional issue, and these assholes have nothing but contempt for MY country.

Go get 'em.
