He appeared at CPAC, with Ann Coulter, Gingrich, Malkich, on Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly

Seriously, though... this is actually pretty consistent for them. Consider:

They took up for Richard Nixon until the very end in Watergate;

They said Ollie North's sale of arms to Iran and lying to Congress about it made him a "hero";

They thought appointing foxes to guard government agency henhouses was a great "privatization" move;

They thought Jack Abramoff was an enterprising young man;

They thought--and think--it's patriotic to spy on American citizens without a warrant;

They're "pro-life", but think it's OK to force a woman who's a slave laborer in the Northern Mariana Islands to have an abortion so she can stay on the job.

They think Rev. Ted is a "good Christian man";

They justify keeping gays out of the military at all costs, but this guy they honor...

Goes with their territory.
