So what are the Democrats plans for Iraq?
And yes, i do know they have plans, several such plans and that the meme that the Dems don't have a plan is a talking point from a memo at Faux news.

So this isnt' a flame thread.

But is there a list of the different plans and thier meritis and flaws?

2. that's not what i asked.
I already knwo the cons plans. Keep doing what they were doing, squeze as much profit out of the horrible situation as they can and dodge responssibility.

I want to know what the democrats plans are. I know Murtha and Edwards and Kucinich have plans. I am sure others do as well.

I was wanting a list of these plans.

Pointing out the obviouse, that the cons have no workable plan, doesnt' help me.

...and report back to us here? I know I for one could put it to excellent use.

Thanks for suggesting it!

6. What flaws? Plans and merits were perfectly devised.
Enough troops
Troops sufficiently trained
Troops provided offensive and defensive weapons
Troops provided proper protection
Defense contracts approved based on merit and not Republican favoritism
Require Iraqi constitution to provide a government for the people, prohibit religious leaders from being the leader of government.

Install the original government workers.

Wait a minute... Republicans don't give a damn about the troops. Never have and never will!

7. Redeploy and then withdraw
in an orderly fashion, a process that could be completed in six months. No more than two divisions should be left behind. It's time to stand down so Iraqis can stand up.

8. what about the Iraqi citizen's plans for Iraq?
I think most Democrats agree that the time for moving our troops out of Iraq has come. I think Democrats are still divided on whether or not the war in Iraq was a good move.

http://gravel08.us/issues

Like Murtha, Kucinich, and Edwards..Gravel has an excellent plan for moving our troops out of Iraq.

I believe in addition to these plans we need to do two more things. We need to repeal Bush's tax cuts and also impose a national sales tax. The revenue raised from those actions should be used to pay for the unfunded actions we have already taken in Iraq, to fund a Marshall plan to reconstruct Iraq, and to provide for higher pay along with improved benefits for the troops who have served in Iraq.

All plans have merits and flaws, but this Administration has never had a plan..just unplanned actions without an exit strategy which only adds to the national debt while endangering our country's long term security. Republicans only failed us on 9/11 and in Iraq.
