This stuff needs to be said!

And remember: they regard all these as microcosms. It's like audience research, or test marketing. Each email, they assume (correctly, I think), as being representative of MANY more who think the same way but didn't bother to (or couldn't) write in, themselves. It's why radio stations have request lines. It's why pollsters exist. It's why the wrong-wing got so powerful. Numerically, they just don't cut it. They're a MINORITY. A small minority. But they stand out disproportionately to their numbers because they're so damned loud and vocal and ever present. They're the first, and most aggressive, to jump onto the phones and hit their keyboards and send letters to deluge Congress and others. They push their agenda with everything they've got. As a result, they LOOK AS THOUGH they're mighty armies of multiple millions! The so-called "Silent Majority" is anything but. THEY are the fringe folks. Not us. THEY are. But they make more noise and a bigger stink, so it's merely ASSUMED that they are greater and mightier than they really are.

GOOD WORK, Jenny! Excellent!!! It's emails like yours that will help adjust, and correct, the thinking in the media. We're lagging behind as a movement because we're just now catching on. The newt gingriches and frank luntzes and tony perkinses and ralph reeds and jerry falwells and pat robertsons and richard vigueries have DECADES of head start on us. That's why they've been able to build to such a crescendo. But we're catching up. Hell, we already overran kkkarl rove last November. The numbers are on OUR side. And growing.

37. It's one of those little icon thingies at the upper left by your name

and post count. It's a little figure with the green plus sign. And as I found out by mistake, the little figure with the red X is how you put somebody on ignore. If you ever hit that one by accident, you can correct it by going into your "My DU" section and finding your ignore part, and once in there, there's a delete option you can click on.

Takes me awhile to figure this stuff out, but at least some of it, I have. And don't you just love the savvy, highly-informed, expert "insider's" way I have of describing these steps? Thank God I married a computer/internet savvy person. Otherwise, I'd be LOST. D'OH!!! :D
