Iraq's involvement in 9/11
Conservatives...this is me putting you on notice. If I hear you falsely connecting Iraq with al Qaeda or 9/11 one more time, I'm going to find something sharp and pointy to put up your ass sideways. Americans are slowly coming around to the truth you have been trying to shield them from, but there are many daft fools in this country that believe, without even a shred of proof, that Saddam was involved in the travesty of 9/11, making the invasion of Iraq justifiable.

Also, if a bunch of tin cans are the best you can do to assert Iran's participation in the insurgency, I'd go back to the drawing board. You'll need a hell of a lot better "evidence" to convince the American people this time. We've already lost over 3,100 sons and daughters. If you think we're going to just roll over and give you 10,000 more without irrefutable evidence, you're even dumber than I thought.

Congress, it is your job to block this lunacy with all of the thunder your new Democratic Majority can muster. If you need to trample Lieberman and McCain in the process, I don't condone it, but it would be a sad case of casualties of war.

As the poll numbers of those opposing Bush and his policies rise, Congress, you have to take that as boldness, and use it as inspiration. Whether you start impeachment proceedings for Bush and Cheney(please), or simply vote against any legislation Bush puts forward regarding the war or the troops, you need to stand firm, and listen first and foremost to your people, followed by the voices of the troops who have fallen in this utterly useless war.

2. Really?
There are really people out there that are this stupid? I think I'd collapse in a heap of my own laughter if I heard someone claim this. Then I'd stop suddenly and slap them repeatedly until the last piece of stupidity seeped from their head.

this meme is still out there, usually by people justifying the Iraq invasion by
saying "they attacked us on 9/11" without specifying who "they" are.
(Or another one is "if we leave Iraq they'll attack us again").

4. And Muslims *aren't* given a bad rap in this country...
When we cannot distinguish the religion from the terrorists who just happen to be members of that religion, we look ignorant...
