John Howard chimes in on Obama...Johnnie's trying to replace tony as the new poodle
Howard slams Obama on Iraq policy

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Australia's conservative prime minister slammed U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama on Sunday over the candidate's opposition to the Iraq war, saying it encourages terrorists and threatens to destabilize the Middle East.

The first-term U.S. senator announced Saturday that he will run for the White House in 2008, saying the country's first priority should be to end the war in Iraq.

"I think that will just encourage those who want to completely destabilize and destroy Iraq, and create chaos and a victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for an Obama victory," Howard said on Nine Network television.

"If I were running al Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory, not only for Obama but also for the Democrats."

The Iraq war has seriously hindered al-qaeda's recruiting abilities, we better keep it going. :eyes:

I mean, right now it's a place of hand holding, song and dance.
Iraq just keeps getting happier everyday.

on edit:
And that Obama's idea would de-stabilize the Middle East.

God I hope that doesn't happen. I already have planned my summer vacation for the fun and stable spots in Iraq.

3. According to John Pilgers writings
Australia under Howard is even worse than Britain under President Tony. Read the Australia section of his website

4. fine, if Johnnie likes George so much, I'll trade him houses
He can come here and we'll go there.

In fact, why don't all the Aussie, British and Canadian right-wingers come over to the US and we sane Americans can take their places
in their countries. If they want to profit from the Devil's deeds, they should have to live near the fire.

5. He's in trouble at home
He is facing a resurgent Labor Opposition with a new and credible Opposition Leader (Rudd) in Australia. Howard is panicking and this latest outburst of stupidity makes him look even more foolish. This has only just broken here because it's Sunday evening as I write this but I fully expect there to be some discussion about Howard's rude intrusion into the US political process. I trust we'll see him as the lickspittle of the Bush camp, attacking Obama to help his "mate"(yeah, right) Bush and the Republicans. Of course Darth Cheney is on the way here too and that will embarrass Howard because we're awake to what that demon spawn is doing. He's a dirty little grub.

8. Non-U.S. right wing really seems focussed on Obama.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting that impression from this and the British right wing media's attacks on Obama.
