I Remember Seeing Jim McDermott (D-Wash) And Some Of His Colleagues......
on CSPAN late at night talking to the TV cameras from the floor of the House. They were on late at night because the Repug controlled congress wouldn't provide them time during the day to address the house and put their feelings about the runup to the war and the war in Iraq into the record. The Repugs didn't want them to be on CSPAN during the prime time when people might be watching. So they had to come to the floor of the House in the late evening hours to address Congress - this allowed them to get their feelings - on the record.
A couple of questiions - who besides McDermott did this - I can't remember the other Congressmen/women who accompanied him? I do remember them talking about Feith on one of these occasions.
Another question is - how can we now go back and access those speeches that they made? It would be interesting to now look back and see what they where trying to tell the American people back then that the Repugs were trying to silence and the MSM wasn't reporting.
Also - are all these same Congressmen/women still in Congress?
on Tuesday nights, I often saw Rep. Delahunt from Massachusettes giving open speeches late in the evening. They were exposing Chalabi's criminal background before anyone else did.
