McAuliffe on MSNBC: Polls Mean Nothing!
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 03:18 PM by Kerry2008
One of Hillary Clinton's henchmen and former DNC chairman Terry McAuliffee just said on MSNBC that polls showing Hillary Clinton leading by big margins right now DON'T matter.

Now to all Hillary supporters, can we stop relying off these polls?

You heard it from the horse's mouth, McAuliffee said polls right now won't mean CRAP in a year.

He also surprisingly listed the fact we have an impressive field of candidates, yet I'm sure he's sharpening the blade to hack away more of Hillary's 08 opponents.

Nothing new here, just wanted the Hillary supporters to know Hillary's own people know these polls are meaningless right now.

6. Well, it's only fair.
The Hillary supporters like to keep us informed of every little poll showing her 9834838 points ahead of Obama, Edwards, and the rest of the pack.

4. Yeah, but it's fun to use the polls to hammer away at Hillery critics!
Nothing is funner than running over somebody with a bandwagon! :sarcasm:

7. Yes, my right wing acquaintances will be telling Hillary Jokes or
how they put it, HITlery jokes, as they carpool to the Democratic Primary to vote for her to win the nomination.

You have many right wingers supporting you. But it's with a wink wink. Don't ever underestimate your enemy, they are quite sly at times. :wow:

TRUISM: Nominating Hillary is every republican's wet dream. :(

5. He is right
The polls taken right now will have almost no relevance to the situation a year from now.

8. I don't know anyone that has been around politics or even here
for any period of time that believes the polls are dead accurate right now in forecasting November 08. I haven't seen any Hillary supporters, including myself, that believe differently.

9. I really don't hear much of anything from Hillary supporters about....
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 03:27 PM by Kerry2008
her legislative accomplishments, and what she's done to be qualified for President. I remain open minded, but I don't care about polls or media hype. I wish some of you here would take Terry's advice, and get over the polls. They are meaningless at this point, absolutely meaningless.

12. I'm a Senator Clinton supporter and I certainly don't think...
the polls have a reflection on 2008, but they do show she is a viable candidate for the Democratic nomination. You can post anything you want regarding Kerry's polls and I wouldn't mind at all.

13. It's all about the $ and Hillary can raise it
Polls are name recognition at this point and that won't matter in a year. However, they know just as well as we do that her fundraising connections are what makes her such a favorite even this early.

I couldn't care less about the polls right now. The polls now are nothing but making up news where there isn't any.

10. Polls this far out ...
don't count for much. Not much does. However, people who put their $ on the line is a good indication.

If you don't believe the odds, then bet against her and make a ton of $. But for now the $ says:

2008 Democratic Presidential Nomination:

Hillary Clinton ... 48.2%
Barack Obama ... 20.0%
John Edwards ... 15.9%
Al Gore ... 7.8%
Remainder are less than 3%
