On the part with Shields and the Republican guy (can't recall his name) he said that Bush has to give a "substantive reason why this number of troops is the right number and his hasn't given that."

It goes the other way, too...why does Edwards think 50,000 is the ideal number to withdraw immediately?

Look...no flames here, but this was really an "oh wow!" moment just now! Where are politicians on either side of the isle coming up with these numbers? We need a comprehensive policy, not just more or less troops in Baghdad!
