McCain doctrine or Bush Doctrine - which phrase to use
I think Edwards is a sharp lawyer, but I'm not entirely sold on his use of the "McCaine Doctrine" because 1, it lends some 'executive' credibility to McCain, makes me think that he deserves to have a doctrine named after him.

I would be just as happy if he used "Bush doctrine" because Americans all know Bush and we all hate bush. Just like the 2004 primaries, when everyone was bashing bush, we listened, then Kerry stopped bashing bush and we re-elected him.

So we need to keep bashing bush and make everyone hate the Repukes.

2. Yes but you see
for the very reasons you mentioned (hate bush) is the reason he IS using the Mccain doctrine so people associate him with bushies' failed policies.

Calling this the McCain Doctrine sounds good to me.

We won't be running against Bush again so I'm happy to let McCain receive this slam.

6. How about the McCain/Bush doctrine?
Tie one to the other. When it fails, McCain will be tied to it and shithead.

9. Yep, weld them together like "the hug".
This plan has enough shit in it for both of them to wallow in up to their necks. Actually, total submersion seems more likely.

11. Bush is toast...
..the only running he's going to do is to his ranch in Paraguay...

McCain is running in '08, so we need to hit him with this hard for the next two years... AND paint his fellow reds with the same brush while we're at it... the McCain Doctrine and Katrina clearly demonstrate the complete and total failure of the republican philosophy...
