Although Congress has perpetually voted itself an "annual cost of living increase." This fraud is a deliberate end-run of the 27th Amendment and has been in place since this amendment was ratified in 1992.

2. The cost of living for a Congressman has gone up 23%
but I guess everybody knows there is no inflation at all at the bottom end of the earnings spectrum.

Assholes.

Congressional wages need to be tied to the median wage.

No raises unless wages are going up.

What do you want to bet the American people would start getting a better deal?

Nine. One in 1998 and one every year since 2000 (automatic increases, to be more accurate).
