Bush on Rumsfeld: ‘This Man Knows How To Lead…And The Country Is Better Off For It’Just 2 out 10 Americans approve of President Bush’s Iraq policy. It hasn’t fazed him. Today, President Bush gave outgoing Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld a “rousing endorsement.”At his farewell ceremony, Bush said that Rumsfeld “knows how to lead and he did and the country is better off for it. Watch it: Cheney: Rumsfeld ‘Is the Finest Secretary of Defense This Nation Has Ever Had’Today, Vice President Dick Cheney spoke at a ceremony honoring outoing Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. Cheney, himself a former Defense Secretary under George H. W. Bush, said Rumsfeld was the “finest Secretary of Defense this nation has ever had.”Watch it:  |
