Have the cock sure RW media pundits lost their stiffie?
Its fun watching cablenewzshowz these days. Not for the decidedly unfriendly hosts and yakkers, but to watch the Dem spokesmodels go against the Republic Party spokesmodels.

The Republics are so deflated. They got .... not a damn thing!

The Dems, for their part, seem to be doing really well with their recuperation from that spine implant surgery they underwent three weeks ago. In fact, they seem not only fully recovered, but more energized than they've been since the end of the Fairness Doctrine.

An interesting observation ...... the faces are all pretty much new. The RW people seem to be very much the B and C teams whereas the Dems, while often unknown (to me, at least) seem to have their shit together and are DAMN good at doing the visual derision of their 'debate' partners. The use facts, a spinkling of laughing at the other guy, and hard charging talking over the other guy when they feel like it.

the silver lining to having a RW media
Yes, I've been having my little gloatfest on a daily basis, too. I don't watch TV much but what little I do see is most satisfying.

2. That was the first thing of significance I began to notice.
As a rule, when the loudmouth nutter host or his equally loudmouth wingy guest starts interrupting, it has been the custom for the not so wingy guest to shut up and let her "betters" talk.

The progressive guest's insistance on finishing her sentence, the few times it's happened, so far, has been enormously gratifying.

3. I still see the same old...
RWingnuts on the tube. And as for that spine implant, I think the jury is still out on that.

5. Spine Implant
I, too think the jury must be out on the spine implant-the new congress has not been seated yet. I don't hear quite the same stridency from Limbaugh, et al. however. I don't think many listen anymore-even if they still have the RW memes deeply ingrained in their skulls.

7. what happened to Tony Blankley's neck?
Has he had a gastric bypass? I saw him the other day and was surprised at his appearance. He has a chin. Maybe liposuction?

8. Did you catch Ed Rogers on Hardball last night?
The only thing that makes it worth listening to that vile man is to learn what rhetoric and hyperbole the Cons are going to be using to attack. He was on with Joe Trippi last night (I just caught the very end of it) and they were discussing Obama's possibilities in a Presidential run.

Here it is! This is what they're going to be saying about Obama: "Barack HUSSEIN! Obama". And there you have it!

One of the things I have noticed is more Brookings Institute appearances. Less AEI and Heritage Foundation appearnces.
