HarrisWatch: Don't Call It a Comeback!
By Justin Rood - November 27, 2006, 10:44 AM
Rumors are flying that Katherine "Pink Sugar" Harris may try to re-take her House seat in 2008, Roll Call's "Heard on the Hill" column reports (sub. req.).

Harris gave up the seat, which represents Florida's 13th District, in order to mount her disastrous Senate bid. That district is now the scene of a hotly contested election. Republicans say their candidate, Vern Buchanan, won the seat by a few hundred votes; Democrats charge voting machine glitches illegally prevented thousands of Democratic votes from being counted.

Needless to say, Buchanan would need to lose this fight so Harris could run in '08. And the federal investigation into Harris would need to conclude without indictment. So for now, us rakers can only wait. .. and hope.

2. Watch Out!
Bush COULD nominate her for a SCOTUS seat-- he's done stupider things.
The Nobel is a bit of a long shot, though....

4. Hi, BOSSHOG. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at your response.
On reflection, however, she's exactly what Bush would want on the Supreme Court.

And as far as the Nobel Prize, it seems ridiculous that she would ever receive such an honor. But that was before I remembered that it once was given to the criminal named Henry Kissinger. The committee that makes selections must have been stoned out of their minds on that day. And if they weren't, they forever devalued the prizes's significance.

6. Someone really needs to tell her
that basically nobody on the planet likes her anymore. Her usefulness is at an end, and after such a huge loss in the Senate run, none of even her most fanatic supporters want anything to do with her now.

Stick a fork in Cruella, she's done.
