Did anyone else see this interview last night and realize exactly why we're in the mess we are in in Iraq with this guy in charge? If he is advising the * Admin., we will never get out of Iraq!!

The name Abizaid (أبي زيد) means father of Zaid in Arabic. He was raised mostly by his widowed father. He studied Arabic in Jordan, where he received special forces training.<1> He started a program to put Arabic speakers on a fast track for promotions.

dude, especially his last words: The only way to prevent WW III is to stay the course and stabilize Iraq. He also blames both Iran and Syria for the violence going on in Iraq right now. I hope the American people weren't fooled into believing him last night!

She used the word "defeat" and he glared at her as if she was being insubordinate. She must have gotten all of that air time in Iraq for being nice to them. This guy acts like the Press is under his command. Which for a time it was.
