Just an FYI, any Democrat that supports the draft will not get my vote in 2008

I know that this is most likely a stunt and that we're not suddenly back in 1968, but I'm going on the record anyway and saying this now. Any Democrat that supports the draft will not have my vote in 2008 whether they are running for dog catcher or President. I don't care if they are just trying to prove a point and I don't care if they are progressive on every other issue. This is the issue that effects me more than anything being 19.

Also, I should mention that this doesn't mean I'll be voting Republican. I'm smart enough to know that if somehow a draft did pass a Democratic Congress, the Republicans would make sure to use it to start more wars the second they got in office.

If I were draft age, I would be crapping bricks about now. I would seriously be considering a move to Chile. There would be no stinking way I could agree to be drafted unless the country was directly attacked or invaded. But not for this illegal and criminal war. WAKE UP, DEMOCRATS!
