A lot of talk about how the Democrats are moving to the center.
Do they realize that a Party of Santorums. Weldons, and the radical RW are not going to gain them a majority anymore?

Get your own house in order before you spin how we are moving back to the middle.

The good news is that we will finally all have a say in government tomorrow. Republicans don't know it, but this is the best thing that could have happened to our country tonight. Hoorah!

1. Hey, throw them a bone: Parental notification is not un-reasonable
when we're talking about abortion and minors. There are already legal protections for those who need to be protected from dysfunctional parents, and most other families will benefit from a requirement for Parental Notification, especially in concert with adoption and child-care programs.

We could also talk about how "the health of the mother" might be defined in cases requiring late-term abortion.

Other than those two issues, we shouldn't give up any "lefty" ground. Sometimes you can gain some things by giving other things away.
