For me it's Allan. Not so much for his politics but because he seems like such a biggoted, arrogant jerk as a person. Because of that I will take intese pleasure when webb beats him. Oh and he apparently spit on his wife.

Both will make me extremely ecstatic when they leave - young, super-Conservative racists and bigots. The future of the Republican party is about to get flushed.

31. Not a waste of time- it was worth every second...
...the main thing is it brought discontent with the war to the forefront as far as issues go- many DEMS saw how it played and ran with it- and it is a winning issue for us...

If nothing else, we now know which DEMS respect the primary system and which do not.

Politicians who think the base forgets about these kind of things are not smart politicians.

Lamont will be back- and we wont forget which DEMS disregarded the primary process and which ones respected it.

Everything happens for a reason- and I dont see it as a waste of time at all.

36. No apologies and no regrets in CT
Sorry, working to expose Lieberman for the person he truly is will never ever be a waste of time or energy.

Seems like we got over 80,000 people interested enough to register to vote in this state, and no disrespect intended, but I don't think it was the congressional or governor's races that did it. And...well...I don't think Joementum alone was responsible for that...

Now we've got 3 races in play ready to possibly displace the Repub incumbent, 2 long term incumbents...

This race got 43% turnout for a primary...and Tuesday hasn't happened yet...

In light of everything that has happened here I say NO WAY. No regrets and no apologies here. Time and energy very well spent. Win or lose, it was worth every moment.

:toast:

I wouldn't go quite so far as to predict she will be defeated today, but I think it will be close, and there's definitely a possibility if we have a big enough wave. Especially, considering how anti-Repub Ohio is looking to be. I'm definitely looking forward to perhaps seeing "Mean Jean" lose.

There will be a certain poetic justice to seeing both Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell defeated. If Harris's former House seat also turns Dem that will be icing on the cake.

And if George Allen gets defeated it will be great, both because he seems to be a pretty scummy guy and because it will derail the Presidential ambitions of a future "Dubya"-wannabe.
