it's the same thing... Mega Church type deal...

At Pastor Paul’s Gleaming House of Worship, a Donation and a GOP Vote Will Save You

The strong smell of Chlorine greeted devotees and spectators alike as they entered Westlake’s cavernous Church on the Rise (COR) this particular Water Baptism Wednesday. No River Jordan water here for the true believers, but plenty of sanitized, sterilized and oh yes, blessed water for this group of worshippers.

From the look of things, it appears there is a Jacuzzi maker out there that will construct a walk in, walk out Baptismal pool once all the orders for the pools of suburban salaciousness are filled. Wheel the contraption in, save the sinner and wheel the contraption out. Nice and easy. There was even a changing room, stage left, to minimize discomfort.

2. Great article, thanks for posting
If I did decide that I was going to be a Christian, these types of churches would be at the top of my list to stay away from.

3. Oh they are horrible...
I went five or six times and they just give false hope to people looking for meaning in their lives...

4. I went to one and they tried to get me to sign some petition
for some right wing cause or another and I told them I thought they were there to help me take care of my soul not my politics. Needless to say it didn't go over very well but I had already decided that I wouldn't be coming back.
