Email from President Clinton:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is working to elect the Democratic candidates who will do just that. The DCCC is the organization that knows best where to spend every dollar to win back the House.
I'm doing everything I can to help the DCCC in these last 8 days. They asked me to help raise an additional $2 million to fully fund the unexpected number of competitive campaigns that are now neck-in-neck in the polls. I want to thank you for recent support -- it has made this moment possible. But, in these final days, we need to make sure we can fund all of our Democratic House candidates.
Make an additional secure 3-to-1 matched online contribution of $25, $35 or more to the DCCC today to make certain no candidate loses for lack of resources.
https://www.dccc.org/contribute/eoc06_clinton_2/?id=200... It's as simple as this: a small group of the Republican Party controls Washington. It is the most right-wing, radical, special-interest-dominated segment of their party.
These people believe they already have all the answers, and, therefore, differences of opinions are irrelevant. That is why they govern and campaign on an ethos of divide and conquer. For them, evidence and compromise are anathema. They deny inconvenient facts when those facts contradict their policies, and their political objectives.
