Our Election Ads have gotten just Terrible! Is that true everywhere?
Here in KC the ads are all awful - this is as dirty a campaign as I can ever remember.

The worst are Jim Talent and Claire McCaskill and Paul Morrison (in Kansas) and Phil Kline. Phil Kline is just running a horrible, dirty campaign (and he's the religious one)

Also some pretty awful ads about Amendment 2 (stem cell research)

I have just quit watching TV because there is just one awful ad after another and it goes on all nite.

1. we're getting some pretty nasty ones on Amendment 2
(stem cell)...I haven't seen the worst of the Talent ads that I've heard about...but all his ads are full of lies and deception.

There's also Todd Akin (R-MO2) and his anti-immigration ads (pro-border control, pro-English as official language) which are pretty offensive. And he's in a pretty safe seat, AFAIK.

2. Aren't you just sick of it all?
I did see the Amendment 2 ad with Michael Fox yesterday - it is really powerful.

5. the anti Amendment 2 ads and the Talent ads in particular...
My fiancee hates it more than I do, because she has to put up with me yelling at the TV.

4. You should be in Tennessee.
The Corker ads are trash. Just hope and pray there is backlash. Nobody deserves to win the way Corker is playing.

6. In Chicago area, I find the xNC ads pretty poor.

The DNC/DSCC/DCCC ads seem somewhat off the mark for this region. But the RNC ads are just horrible. They actually ran anti abortion ads in the Chicago area! Local Democrats were chortling in glee over that faux pas.

Note to RNC: Chicago and the surrounding counties are vehemently pro-CHOICE, you morons!

And, of course, they are running the "Speaker Pelosi" ads ad nauseum. Problem with that one is they tend to be aimed at the suburbs where everyone is trying to appeal to the female swing voter. Shouldn't they be worried about the women being attracted by the thought of this country's first female speaker?

7. In New Mexico, it's all lies all the time
from the Republicans. The ones on radio are even worse.
