Since we are stuck with whatever is in place, how can we document our votes and make a statement. I don't think your allowed to use cameras in polling places.
Remember the Iraqi elections and ink on fingers. Low tech way to say they want change.
I was thinking that each precinct could have a volunteer station set up outside. Have a very large painters canvas (or paper easel with flipping pages) and a table with some blue and red ink. After you vote, ink up a finger with blue or red ink and leave your mark on the canvas.
If this is legal it would be kind of a performance piece and political statement. we could later auction the canvases if they turn out interesting. donate to a good cause.
Any other ideas?
