| Just checked out Bill Maher last night... |
|
I know that the new episode came out on Friday, but due to various indulgences, I was not able to watch it. I just caught it on a replay last night. Now I've see the New Rules segment on YouTube where he gives the Republican "think tanks" a dressing down, and that was good, but man oh man... good ole Barney Clark...
I mean, like, wow...
He was taking that administration APART and leaving no bits for anyone.
And I love how he did it. The mere TONE of his comments slathered on a layer of "no one's buying your bullshit anymore" to each one of his points. His ATTITUDE spoke of "I may be no spring chicken, but I'll still climb across Jason Alexander to duct tape your mouth shut if you keep interrupting me."
Priceless.

| 2. It's Barney Frank. And you're right, he was amazing! |
|
I know it's Barney Frank because I used to call him Barney Franks and someone here corrected me.
But he did indeed do a GREAT JOB killing the Republican talking points.

The Wall Street Journal is completely right wing. So any time you see someone on T.V. form there will be right wing.

| 4. Yes Barney Frank Was Awesome! |
|
I always love to hear what barney has to say because he makes so much sense! Everything Barney said was right on the money. He should run for Senator. But of course the fact he's openly Gay would bring him down via Karl Rove.

I don't think that would be an impediment... Oh, sure, the Rovian Spin Machine would make significant hay out of it, but I believe the fact that he's openly "Yer Fulla Shit" would by far and away dominate the discourse.

| 7. I loved Barney but I have had one question |
|
that I would love to have Maher anwser. He said, if I am not mistaken, that Hillary voted FOR the torture law. Its my understanding, from asking more knowledgeable people here, that she voted AGAINST the torture law. If Maher was wrong, he needs to address it in his next program.

| 8. She voted AGAINST the torture law, then in an interview kinda backtracked from |
|
that vote and straddled the issue. Pretty much what we've come to expect from her.

Smart as hell, knows how to get right to the heart of an argument, and not be deflected. He took that Club for Growth shill to school. We need more like him.
