Now Bush is Saying They Were Never "Stay the Course?"
I am just amazed at the balls these guys have. I absolutely couldn't believe that when I heard it.

So now they are trying to pull off the biggest "flip flop" of all time? And what scares me is that there a whole lot of people who will buy into that. Just because they would rather do that than face a Democratic landslide.

We are in the weirdest times. Up is down and down is up. This really is like a dictatorship - we are just spoon fed info and are expected to buy into it. And ask a question and get run over by a mac truck.

1. "Stay the Course", "Cut and Run" and "War On Terror"
Were always used about a dozen times apiece during every Bush speech that people invented drinking games out of them.
It's so bad that even if you only took one shot everytime he says "war on terror" you would need about three bottles to get through an entire speech.

Next you'll be all "what do you mean you never said Saddam had weapons of mass destruction?"

Stop thinking. You'll end up with a nervous breakdown. Here's how you handle information from the B* administration:

Step 1
As you go to sleep at night, say to yourself, "I know nothing, I need to know nothing. Everything will be explained to me when I need to know it."

Step 2
When you wake up, get the current news of the day from Fox. They will tell you what you need to know. Do not compare anything they say with what they have said prior to that point--it's in the past, let it go.

Step 3
Go about your day in confidence that you are well informed.

Step 4
Try to keep some food down.

Return to Step 1

Any questions? If yes, please review Steps 1 through 4.

Edit to add :sarcasm: (just in case)

5. People will not buy into it.
Not even dumbass Americans will buy this. For three years "Stay the Course" has been the talking point, not even the media and Bartlett and Rove together can erase it.

7. LIAR BUSH: "We will stay the course."
Bush: ‘We’ve Never Been Stay The Course’
During an interview today on ABC’s This Week, President Bush tried to distance himself from what has been his core strategy in Iraq for the last three years. George Stephanopoulos asked about James Baker’s plan to develop a strategy for Iraq that is “between ’stay the course’ and ‘cut and run.’”

Bush responded, ‘We’ve never been stay the course, George!’ Watch it:

Bush is wrong:

BUSH: We will stay the course. <8/30/06>

BUSH: We will stay the course, we will complete the job in Iraq. <8/4/05>

BUSH: We will stay the course until the job is done, Steve. And the temptation is to try to get the President or somebody to put a timetable on the definition of getting the job done. We’re just going to stay the course. <12/15/03>

BUSH: And my message today to those in Iraq is: We’ll stay the course. <4/13/04>

BUSH: And that’s why we’re going to stay the course in Iraq. And that’s why when we say something in Iraq, we’re going to do it. <4/16/04>

BUSH: And so we’ve got tough action in Iraq. But we will stay the course. <4/5/04>

Digg It!

STEPHANOPOULOS: James Baker says that he’s looking for something between “cut and run” and “stay the course.”

BUSH: Well, hey, listen, we’ve never been “stay the course,” George. We have been — we will complete the mission, we will do our job, and help achieve the goal, but we’re constantly adjusting to tactics. Constantly.

9. Haven't you heard?
Undoubtedly, those words were taken out of context. "Stay the course" is simply a partisan political attack used by the Democrat Party. The New York Times and others should be ashamed for spreading such propaganda emboldening the enemies of freedom!

...what am I leaving out...oh!!

The Democrat cut and run mentality with their San Francisco morality has no ideas!

The above will be brought to you on today's Limbaugh and Hannity shows and repeated throughout the week.

10. All references to "Stay the course," are in the process of being
removed from all newspaper articles, videos, etc. Once the process is complete, then, of course, it will be true that bush never uttered the phrase, "Stay the course."

And people thought Orwell was kidding.

12. While of course...
thinking human beings everywhere recognize this for what it is, I still want the dem party to run an add like the windsurfing one.

a clip of bush saying 'it was never stay the course' followed by one of the hundreds of examples of him saying 'stay the course', back to the first, another example, etc. pick some of the ones where he leans over the podium and snarls it. toward the end intersperse examples of his lackeys now running for reelection parroting it.

then close with a voiceover telling people to stand by for a new "original" message from their congresscritter.
