You were promised:

• Gays would never "threaten marriage" - but the 2 and 3 times married Congress who promised you went back on their word
  
  
• Christians would rise up and remake USA in their image - but all you got was Bill O'Reilly's War on Christmas (almost time for the next round)
  
  
• 10 Commandments in every school and courthouse - by Congressmen who couldn't even recite them
  
  
• Politicians who promised to wipe out the homo menace to your children - but turned out to be too turned on by it and addicted to the power they hold to bother with any thoughts for the children.
  
  
• Outrage over Janet's breast on national TV - but got 24/7 coverage describing how Congressman asked underage boys how they masturbate and how well endowed they are (best not let the kiddies near the nightly news for a while)

Face it - they lied to you. Just to get your vote and your money. They didn't care one thing about you, beyond your usefullness.

You've been used and abused, just like the TV preacher who threatens you with hell and brimstone if you don't send in enough money, then gets caught with a hooker.

And you know what? Jesus himself told you to expect this. Go back and take a look. In fact, let's designate November 7 as a National Day of Prayer and Reflection. Stay at home that day, think about where you've been taken astray. Ask God to give you guidance over the next couple years to keep your mind open to His teaching about taking care of the poor and downtrodden, about doing unto others, about wolves in sheeps clothing leading you down a path that God didn't want you on. Stay home all day, no radio, no TV and just pray. Pray for the new leaders of our country in getting us off the path we never should have gone on. Pray for the people all over the world who are suffering under the policies of this mis-Administration.

Pray for peace, pray for wisdom. Just stay at home and pray.
