Last week, Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, a Republican, went on television with his wife and dog by his side, smiled, and said: "Wouldn't it be nice if we could go the whole campaign without those negative ads like they had in the Democratic primary?"

This week, Perdue apparently changed his mind, creating a negative advertisement against his Democratic opponent, Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor.

Nice to know Perdue practices what he preaches.
