Please Volunteer for a Local Dem Today

This will be a lot of preaching to choir since I'm sure that most who read this are politically active. However, for those of you who have not ever volunteered in a political campaign, please do so.
I know the reasons not to: "I e-mailed so and so and they never called me back", "I hate phone banking", "don't know who to work for" etc.
To those things, I would say: Most campaigns are understaffed and overworked and often lose e-mails or forget to call you back, they won't make you phone bank or do something you don't want to do, simply walk into any Dem campaign or call your State Dem hq and ask them which campaign most needs volunteers and where you might make a difference.
Even if you only have a couple of hours between now and Election Day, you will be make a difference. Whether it's stuffing envelopes, doing computer data entry work, delivering yard signs, canvassing door to door, going to a local event, phone banking, or whatever, you will meet like minded people and have a sense of belonging and accomplishment. So, find somebody that you can help and go help them! As of today, we are only 29 days away! You are needed somewhere and your efforts will be appreciated!!!!!
