Aburdist GOP Ad: Dem House Candidate Promises to Vote to Raise Her Salary
A columnist in today's (Oct. 8th) Phila Inquirer reports on the horrible ads that the GOP are using in the race between incumbent Rep. Jim Gerlach vs. Dem Lois Murphy for a House race in the Phila. Suburbs. (By the way, there are candidates for 3 different seats in the House in PA. this year named Murphy).

http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/news/15703968.htm

The columnist, Tom Ferrick noted that 13 of Gerlach's 15 mailings attached Murphy, while only 2 had anything positive to say about Gerlach. Excerpt of column:

"One of my favorites is a mailing that tells us that "extremist Lois Murphy has promised to raise taxes and accept a pay raise if elected."...It turns out this is a Gerlach campaign take on a Murphy statement that promised she would not accept any increase in pay if elected to Congress until it passed a law to raise the minimum wage.

So much mud to throw, so little time."

1. Are there not rules against false accusations, false advertising...
I wish the Dems start calling the Repugs out on these issues...the Dems have evidence of what was actually said or done and can refute these accusations.....

Can't these reTHUG types ever stick to the simple truth?

They seem to always have to play their idiotic semantic games, twisting the real meanings of things their own way.

How revolting! :puke:

This ought to be rich fodder for campaign ads for Dems, I should think -- using reTHUG lies against them. Let's hope we see some soon that throw this disgusting propensity for truth twisting back in their reTHUG faces.

HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH?
