1. I just returned from mailing my absentee ballot.
I'm not concerned about it being counted, as they are very conscientious about following the rules. Believe me when I say I double-checked to make sure there was NO reason for it to be disqualified.

Now, to wait for the outcome.

2. You are in Iowa? The polls generally indicate a Culver win
but some say it is neck and neck. I hope you guys pull it off!

3. Yes, I imagine he will win...
however, he has one big problem. He wants to take part of the public employees' pension plan and invest it. I don't think it will happen, as he got an ear full when he suggested it. Hopefully, he no longer has that in his plans.

I think Iowa is leaning Democrat. I always find it amazing that no one--and I do mean no one--admits to having voted for GW in either election. Go figure.

5. Me too! I was laughing so hard when I saw Katharine Harris
on the ballot that I actually started to pencil in the circle next to her name!

4. I'm going to vote absentee at city hall in a week and a half
and turn my sealed ballot into the registrar. I did this in the CT primary as well, since I was away for primary voting day.

I'll be in Rome on election day. I hope to be able to use the hotel's business office computer to go online and find results for Ned Lamont in CT. I am sure DU will have it by the time I get to go on line (I think it is 6 hours later in Rome so I am planning to hit that computer by 7 am).

14. This is important
Kick - This is important.

You also have to notify for change of address even in the same precinct.

By LUCK I checked today about registration and it was the last day in Indiana.
I **just** went down to the post office to make sure it was postmarked with todays date.
