Bush: "I would hope they would listen to the words of Osama bin Laden"

Remarks by Bush at Bob Beauprez for Governor and Colorado Republican Party Reception:

"If you don't believe me, if people in Colorado are doubtful about whether Iraq is important to the security of the United States, I would hope they would listen to the words of Osama bin Laden, or the number two man in al Qaeda, Zawahiri, both of whom have proclaimed loud and clear that Iraq is essential to their plans."

folks really DON"T believe Bush . . .

In the Sept. 29-Oct. 2 CNN poll, 58% of respondents said the Bush regime lied to them by repeatedly claiming the occupation of Iraq was going well.

Fifty-seven percent in the poll say the conflict has made the U.S. less safe from terrorism; unconvinced by Bush's boasting that his policies and actions have "made America safer and the world a better place."

Sixty-one percent say they oppose the war, and 66% percent say they disapprove of Bush's handling of the occupation in Iraq.

there's nothing that bin-Laden can say that can change the reality of how the American people view Bush's handling of Iraq. He needs a new mentor.

2. Of course OBL is happy about Iraq
He sucked us into an unwinable quagmire that is polarizing the Muslims around the world against the USA. He is ruining the US economy by sucking every last dollar thru a military/industrial and oil black hole.
He can have his allies jump at the chance to kill America's youngest while puffing his waterpipe under the comfortable protection of US allies (Pakistan).
