Pre-election solidarity - Black Armbands
We ought to start showing our united outrage on the passage of the Pro-Torture Bill. A symbol of our terminal disgust with our media, the Republican Crime Syndicate, and even those 15-20% of the Democratic Party which suffer from Liebermanitis. Going about our everyday lives, not ranting and raving, but a real quiet show of solidarity on this anti-American, pro-crime law that the Syndicate. Should we be asked, we patiently explain...if contronted, kill the enemy with superior firepower - the facts.

A quiet symbol, worn by, say, 50MM Americans.....now that would be impressive. We need to raise awareness of the issues and get a macro-sense of ourselves....the blogosphere could amp this, maybe DU could print them and sell at discount.....put the DU link on 'em. Everybody buy a dozen or so and pass them out.

~ We caved in to terror.~

Around 11/1, we flip them over, reverse colors:

"I'm voting to stop Organized Crime: Vote Democrat."

Whaddaya think? I'm ready to order....

Your post was pretty much concurrent wtih the others I saw. And the titles are what gave me the ideas, and only after reading your idea. See? You're an inspiration!

5. I'm in.
I wore a black arm band when BushI passed the 'gag rule.' It didn't have any message on it but people knew it was a political protest and asked me about it.
