May I just state for the record: John Cornyn is a pompous ass!
And he inhales most vigorously! That is all.

2. Corndog is indeed an ass. An ass looking for another hole, one isn't
enough. May he be inflicted with horrendous hemorrhoids because he is such an "ass"!

3. There's hope though ...
Even my 12 year old, took a look at this Bozo, and immediately quipped, "Whomever's on C-SPAN now is an idiot!" :wow: :P

Perhaps there's hope as long as our younger generation can remain aware of the liars. ;) :hi:

9. Yes, she is politically active with mom ...
She was with me at the polls during the 2004 election, i.e., the Democratic Table. There were a number of Young Democrats from the local high school there and my daughter enjoyed being with youngER people. We were so naive and hopeful that day. However, both of us continue to hope. :-)

Thanks to all ... I am blessed beyond words. :hi:

5. I believe that should be 'whoever'
We've got to teach them young, lest they end up as gibbering slack-jawed GOPers. For such an astute 12 year-old I'm sure there's no problem there. ;-)

I help her with Math and Science.

But you're correct. Thanks for keeping us square. :-)

11. Sounds like the kid (and you parental units) have your priorities straight
and a good BS detector is definitely a priority.

7. He was rumored to be a candidate for Supreme Court vacancy
yuck. I believe he served as a Texas supreme court judge before running for Senator.

8. Pompous? Of so much more than that
As a Texan I always have a lot to explain to my friends across the country about the Bush crime family. It usually starts with "I didn't vote for that asshole!" so, re: Cornyn "I didn't vote for that asshole!" I look at the list of Texas representatives after Delay got done with his coup and just shake my head. Martin Frost was my rep for many years. Not too left of center, but I always got the feeling that at least he tried to help folks that don't own oil companies. He's gone. Well, maybe to cheer up I'll go make another donation to the Lampson campaign. Yeah.

I feel better already.

12. You are WAY too kind in your assessment of Cornholio.
he's one stupid motherfooker.

Never forget he has publicly stated he learned about the Geneva Conventions from watching 'Hogan's Heroes'.
