The indifference and nonchalance is disturbing...
to say the least. Senators and Congressmen debate the issue of habeus corpus and constitutional rights and torture as if they were discussing the annual Congressional softball game. No thought of the weight of their decisions or the consequences thereof. Just another vote. No big deal. Then they'll go home and campaign to come back and do some more "voting"...

3. as always
IGNORE blocks all posts including PMs. Sometimes that is the only way to deal with (or more specifically not deal with) that which defies comprehension.

4. Yeah, it may look like that, and it may sound like that
But I have a feeling that they know. They know what is happening. More clearly than any of us could ever know.

8. They already know - i.e. have been TOLD - how they are going to vote...
This is just a dog and pony show they can use to campaign.
